I'm not crazy about prop 8, like I don't want to get in a fight with someone who feels differently than I do. I just really believe that marriage is something that should be between a man and a woman.
Here is the statement from the Church, which I totally agree with:

Mindy thanks for your brave post... I agree with you on so many things, but this one is an absolute agreement! Marriage is between men and women, and it solidifies families. I don't hate those who choose differently, but their choice should not change marriage and it's meaning... I don't hate those who choice alternate lifestyles, I have friends and family who have, and I love them just as much as I always have and I always will. But marriage is between men and women!
