independence day

First of all, I just finished reading The Hunger Games series. I know, I'm way behind. Lucas has been trying to get me to read them for some time now ... I just loved them. I might have cried a little at the end. If you haven't read them, do it now. And ... they're making it into a movie!

Secondly, Happy 4th of July! It's one of my very favorite holidays ... I love the food, activities, and the general attitude of patriotism everyone has. Tonight we're heading up to Oakley for the rodeo. It's a pretty big deal up there. And I secretly want to live in Oakley. (bull picture from the Strawberry Days Rodeo)

Also, check out my friend Ela's blog - Lorien is a guest blogger today and wrote a lovely post about our amazing country.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!

Lorien was just telling me about the Hunger Games, so don't feel bad. I haven't even started yet. :) Thanks for spreading the word about the blog too! Lorien's post really is lovely.
